Technical Assessment Body for construction products
Persons in Ireland wishing to operate as a Technical Assessment Body for construction products are required to complete an application for Technical Assessment Body status.

The purpose of a Technical Assessment Body for construction products is to carry out a European Technical Assessment on innovative construction products (i.e. products not covered by a harmonised European standard) to enable the manufacturer of such products to make a Declaration of Performance and apply the CE marking on a voluntary basis.

Theory Test Certificate

This is awarded to a person who passes a driver theory test and can then exchange this for a Learner Permit.

TV Licence

The requirement to have a television licence is set out in the Wireless Telegraphy Acts, 1926 to 1988.

An analogue television set, with or without a set-top box, will still require a Television Licence.
The definition of a Television set (Section 140 (1) of the Broadcasting Act 2009)

"Television set" means any electronic apparatus capable of receiving and exhibiting television broadcasting services broadcast for general reception (whether or not its use for that purpose is dependent on the use of anything else in conjunction with it) and any software or assembly comprising such apparatus and other apparatus.
